We don’t like to talk about death and instead, we push it to the furthest reaches of our minds. The thought of losing our loved ones, or leaving them behind is too painful to consider, and so we shut it out. But when we do this, we also shut out the chances to make our loved ones feel loved. Refusing to acknowledge that we may die is refusing to live in the moment.

Share Your Love

If each of us were to know the exact day on which we would die, we would likely all spend it with the ones we loved. We would tell them everything we had ever wished to tell them, share with them all of the joy and love that they deserve, and the problems we have with avoiding death would be gone.

Make Every Moment Count

Unfortunately, most of us will not get that chance, and, without making changes in our lives, every important ‘I love you’ and ‘I’m sorry’ will remain unsaid. This is a tragedy, and One More Chance is striving towards preventing this tragedy from happening, while also aiming to help you live a happier and healthier life.

The Course

This course will provide you with the tools you need to mentally reevaluate the way you consider death, and the impact it has on your life. Focusing on a series of thought exercises, analyses, and practical skills, the course tackles the problem of death, and the underlying psychological issues that cause that problem in a way that is clear, easy to follow, and applicable to day-to-day living.

The course not only gives you the opportunity to become more comfortable with the prospect of life's end, whether that be your own or the passing of someone you love, but also provides you with new ways of thinking about your current life, to maximise the amount of happiness, joy, and fulfillment you take from it, long before you ever come face to face with death.

One More Chance is for everyone. It doesn't matter whether you've experienced death close to you, are preparing for a death you worry is imminent, or have never experienced a death in your life, the tools and self-development One More Chance offers and facilitates can have a large positive impact on your life.

Anyone can live and experience the philosophy of One More Chance. The only requirement is the willingness to look at yourself and to change the way you think about the world, for the good of yourself and everyone around you.

Marija St Laurent, Founder of One More Chance, has always looked at the world a little different. The inspiration behind One More Chance stems from her childhood. She attended a funeral service, and even then at her young age, was left with one thought resonating in her mind:

Surely something can be done to ease the pain all of these people are experiencing. The more this thought developed the more she began to realise that while the spirit of those we lose goes on, the physical loss creates devastation for those left behind and that this devastation is caused by the lost opportunity to express your true feelings for your loved ones.

One More Chance is Marija’s solution to solve this, powered by her belief that the living can find comfort and spiritual connection with their loved ones through changing the way they think about death, and by receiving something tangible, filled with love from those who they’ve lost. She is motivated by making the world a nicer, more fulfilled place, and by the endless desire to help those around her.

Kevin, my son, delivered his initial message, the one I misinterpreted, the day before he died, eleven years ago.

Now, this new, true message rings with clarity. I not only embrace that once scary path, but it has taken on a higher, more fruitful trajectory.

But none of this new-found purpose would have happened if it wasn’t for a woman in Melbourne, Australia named Marija St Laurent.

Kevin’s true meaning of his message was delivered to me from Marija. Well, not exactly from Marija, but rather ‘through' her.
